Exec council- here we go again

Our ward had a party and asked that we'd be hosts for one of the groups.  These fine people were assigned to our house and we had a blast with them.  There were a lot of stories told that were just crazy funny.  I hope we'll have many more parties together.
Ian's been having almost too much fun running for exec. council.
Because of the campaign, Ian had to make a 2 minute movie.  Chad and I were elected to help him with it and we spent a good portion of Saturday doing that.  We also created memories never to be forgotten.  I'm going to copy and paste Mario's letter to Audrey instead of trying to describe what happened.

"Nothing too extraordinary to report this week… Ian has been working on Exec Council campaigning creativeness.  Tuesday we got to see he and Chad doing their first skit in their pink fat suits in front of the whole school and it was extremely well done.  Then on Saturday he and mom and Chad made some videos for his movie that will be shown this week.  In one scene he is trying to show how brave he is and running to save his fragile and helpless mother from a fire in the kitchen.  He runs down the hallway like an alien from “Edge of Tomorrow” and grabs a bag of flour and throws it on the fire.  So, couple of things.   First of all, mom and Ian both have excellent acting skills, with Ian hamming it up and mom acting like a fragile and helpless damsel in distress and they are both up for an Academy Award.  If they win it will be the first Mother/Son combination receiving Oscars together.   Second of all, they started an actual real fire on the stove for the effect.  You just can’t CGI a fire, in spite of how talented we are here at CGI, so the real thing is always best.  And third, nobody seemed to realize or check with Siri as to how flammable flour really is.  So this movie we are showing to all of Sky View has Ian the Rescuing Knight saving his mother by turning her little kitchen fire into a huge explosive fireball that nearly took out Chad as he was filming.  Today the completed movie is going to be submitted for approval and there is a chance that the school administration will consider the fireball to warrant a PG-13 rating for violence and endangerment and reject the whole thing.  Who knows how many high school students will want to “try this at home.”   The whole movie ends with Ian in the fat suit again doing a belly flop with his face right into the pool.  We slowed it way down and set it to the “Duel of Fates” music from Star Wars Episode I and I have to say, it is VERY effective.  Almost as effective as your Exec Council movie with you flopping around in the Sky View swimming pool with Aaron’s voice narrating in the background.

Just out of curiosity, this morning I asked Siri how flammable flour is.  She thought I said “flower” and I am now reading a very boring Wikipedia article on Dictamnus, a genus of flowering plant covered with a kind of flammable substance… but I also did find something on answers.yahoo that says you can make something called a “flour bomb” which can make a dangerous explosion.  Good to know these things.  For future reference. "

Ian and Chad's dancing skit has had 2000 views on facebook.  Maybe we should put that and the firebomb video on Youtube and get rich!
