uea- Bryce Canyon

I got to celebrate my birthday this year with the whole Durrant family.  We all went to Bryce Canyon.  Some were able to hike another slot canyon and had a lot of fun doing that. We drove on an eternal washboard road and then hike a few miles to the mouth of the slot canyon.  We entered and there the was most freeze-your-duffer-off cold water up to the waste.  Isaac and I went in there a bit and then came running back out screaming because it felt like our legs were on fire.  Brad and Kayden also did the same thing, so the 4 of us opted out of that and hiked up above the canyon where we could see them going through (and screaming and laughing a lot).  Then we explored and Brad found Moki marbles and we became obsessed with finding the most perfect bowls and marbles to fit in them.  It was like digging through a huge sandbox for treasure.  We brought some home and I display them with pride.

On our way home, we happened to call mom and dad because we knew they were in Cedar City the same weekend.  The timing was perfect because we had just left to start our drive back home and so had they.  We were within a few minutes of each other, so we met at a gas station and talked for awhile.
