| They are using a lot of thought coming up with the perfect name for themselves |
Mario and I were thinking of going on a get-away, just the 2 of us down to SL. Then we decided to stay here because we didn't want to miss out on fun that our kids would have without us. It's so funny how life changes with time. When they were little, we wanted to get away so badly and we didn't get to that much because it was too complicated. Now it's fairly easy, but we want to spend the time with them while they're still around.

| Ian in his element |
We had the most fun ever that night. Ian organized his first band practice. He's got some very musical friends, (and sister) and they got together and spent the next 6 hours learning one song. They even let me in on it playing very simple notes on the bass guitar. Towards the end of their practice, a bunch of Audrey's friends showed up and they performed it for all of us. It was amazing! Mario and I made tacos for everyone and Mario made like 4 batches of his famous ginger cookies. The kids are already planning their next song. The greatest part for me was watching Ian be such a leader of the group and telling them all what to play when. This is his new passion for sure. Mario and I were laughing because we got so incredibly sick of the song after hearing it over and over for a straight 6 hours. Then the next morning, Ian got up, put his headphones in and started singing the same song all over again. I couldn't believe it.
