What a great week it's been--full of lots of family fun. We took all the cousins ice blocking on Tues. It was so hot that day, the only comfortable position was to just hold your head on the block of ice. Not a lot of ice blocking took place.

We kept our tradition of having a swim party here on the 4th. We mostly stayed inside and played a lot of games and ate a lot of food while the kids swam.

| We also have started doing fireworks together for whoever wants to stay that long. Mario said that this picture looks like the firework Jedi council |

On Sat. afternoon, Mario had a few hours of freedom, which seems to be getting more rare. We took advantage of it and left for Bear Lake. We had a fun few hours there and we also ran into the Croshaw's on our way home. They stopped for raspberry shakes too. It was so awesome to see them.

A funny thing happened while we were there. The boys went up to the van to get sunscreen and somehow set off the panic alarm. They couldn't get it to turn off and people around us were getting very irritated. Mario couldn't get it off either and finally just got in a drove away. He came back when it shut off and when he tried to get out, it started all over again. So he drove off again. When he came back much later, I was waiting for him and he rolled down the window, turned off the van, and climbed out the window. None of us were allowed to touch it. When AJ and Ian went to get our lunch out, they also climbed through the front, and handed things out one by one, out of the ice chest. When we left, we got in normally and all was well. It made for a funny memory though.
